It's games like last night that remind me of how woefully slow and old this roster really is. Calgary had absolutely no resistance entering the offensive zone last night. In fact, the majority of their breakouts were odd man because of the plodding nature and over commitment by the Wild defense in their own offensive zone.

Bottom line is that the Wild simply cannot compete with the young speedy teams.

Time to blow it up.

Next game against the Wild is going to be interesting. Clean or not - that reckless and unnecessary play by Dumba won't be forgotten by players like Bennett, Tkachuk, and whatever energy player gets dressed for the 4th line.
